"Only We Are" by Instinto Muerto
When the night dies at daybreak, thoughts resuscitate,
Reason weakens while the sunset swallows
‘Till the day’s last drop.
It’s so easy to shout after running away
And die in the road,
It’s so hard not to lie
While we breathe—
Into the lungs
Of the city’s obscenities.
I won’t run way from the fear
That causes to talk sadly,
None of us can rest when our hands want
To strangle what was created,
This pain wants that life get away from the truth
So that life comes true—
So that life runs free in the Tempest.
Infinite is the mortality of stagnate memories—
We are a memorable instant of perpetual loneliness,
An ephemeral exhalation,
A dying light of blind pupils.
What the hand hidden, instincts found,
It’s so filthy to sow somebody else’s tears,
I must bring my self down to sleep again
Among unbearable whispers—
Among the prisoner freedom of living tied to death.
